1.1.1 Load
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to Load the desired chart from the chart file.
When AstroMart is installed, the list of charts is that of the Chart.32 chart file. This is made up of a series of charts of artists and entertainers.
Before creating and then recording your own charts, you must go to the Options menu, then confirm the Directory.Chart function with <ENTER> in order to create then name your own chart file.
For example: C:/ASTRO/THEMES92

1.1.2 Save
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to Save the chart displayed on the screen in the current chart file.
Note: if you confirm this function when the chart displayed is already recorded, it will be recorded again - giving you two identical charts!
Use the Delete function to get rid of one.
1.1.3 Delete
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to Delete a chart. You chose the chart in the current file.
The deleted chart remains the main chart until you ask for the calculation of a new chart.
The program asks you "Do you want to delete this chart?, Y/N". If you type Y (for YES), the chart will be deleted. If you type N (for NO), the chart will be saved.
Before confirming your command, make sure that the chart which is displayed is really the one you wish to delete .....
1.1.4 Modify
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to Modify a chart in the current file. The chart to be changed must have been saved beforehand in the chart file.
The modified chart remains the main chart, after the changes have been made.
1.1.5 Redo index
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to command AstroMart to Redo the Index of the charts contained in the active chart file in alphabetical order.
AstroMart indexes the charts automatically.
However, in case of power failure or if turn off the computer without quitting AstroMart after carrying out a chart modification, you must use this command.
In this case, the modification has not been lost but will be displayed the next time you use AstroMart.
1.1.6 Information
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to obtain Information concerning the present configuration of your computer and AstroMart.
--> Unit, disk drive
--> Directory path which shows where AstroMart is situated in your hard
disk.
--> Access path and name of the active chart file.
--> Capacity of your disk(ette) and the available memory.
--> Read/write memory available in the central unit. Pay attention to
resident programs, which could prevent AstroMart from running correctly!
--> Print quality specified in the PRINTER/STYLE option in the OPTIONS
menu.
--> Type of printer with its operational mode and graphic resolution
specified in the OPTIONS/PRINTER menu.
1.1.7 Directory
If you confirm this function with <ENTER>, you will have to indicate the complete path (in the input field) of the directory you wish to examine. By <ENTER> again, AstroMart displays the file list in the directory selected; you just have to place the lit cursor on the file you wish to see by using the directional arrows, and again confirm with <ENTER> in order to display the selected file.
==> Only the text or ASCII files will be displayed!
If you later modify the access path, this new path will become the default path.
1.1.8 Quit
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to quit your AstroMart session.
You should always use this option to quit the program or use its equivalent hot key, in this case F10.
This option saves all the options that you have specified and the indexes, before leaving the program.
If you do not use this option to quit the program you must use the REDO INDEX command the next time you use the program.
1.1.9 Prev menu

1.2 Chart
This menu contains the following options :
New────────────────> Creates a new chart
Aspects────────────> Displays aspects of the current chart
Planets/Houses─────> Displays table of all the planets in each of the
houses of the current chart
Graph──────────────> Displays graph of the current chart
Analysis───────────> Displays analysis of the current chart
Clock──────────────> Displays graph with a one step time advance
Linear Graph───────> Displays graph of the movement of the planets in lines
Fictive points─────> Displays the part of Fortune etc....
1.2.1 New
Confirm this function with <ENTER> in order to write:

Hour of birth for the chart that you want AstroMart to calculate.
You can use DownArrow and UpArrow to move from field to field, and PageDown to validate everything. Input waits on the adjustment field for confirmation.
The birthplace selected in the OPTIONS/PLACE menu is displayed automatically.
If it is the desired town press <ENTER>, and you will have the coordinates (Latitude and Longitude).
If you want another town, type in the first two or three letters of the desired town and press <ENTER>. Then a window will appear displaying the list of towns in CITY.DBF. You can use DownArrow, UpArrow, PageUp and PageDown to browse.
If the town you require is not listed, press <F4>. You must type in the latitude beginning by indicating North by "N" and South by "S". Then, the exact latitude, which you must look up in an atlas.
Do the same for the longitude, first writing "W" for West and "E" for East. Then, the exact longitude. (Latitudes and longitudes can be found in an atlas).
The date and time are displayed on your screen. To change them, use the + and the - keys. You can also rewrite the date and time of your choice. Press <ENTER> and the time adjustment is displayed if this adjustment is in the time file. If not, you must enter this adjustment, which can be found in the reference works for time throughout the world.
1.2.2 Aspects
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to display the chart's aspects, their orbs and indicative values of these aspects.
The values give summary indications of the aspects. They take into account the orb, the type of aspect and the planets.
The specification of the orb values and the selection between the major aspects and all the aspects is done in the CHART/ASPECTS ORBS option in the OPTIONS menu. A change of orbs has an effect on the displayed values.
1.2.3 Planets/Houses
Confirm this function to obtain a table of all the planets in each of the houses for the chart displayed.
1.2.4 Graph
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to obtain a graph of the main chart displayed (plan of the Heavens). You can enable or disable display of planets and houses, and their aspects in Options/Chart/Aspects-Planets.
The specification of the orb values and the selection between the major aspects and all the aspects is done in the CHART/ASPECTS ORBS option in the OPTIONS menu. A change of orbs has an effect on the displayed values.

1.2.6 Analysis
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to display a complete analysis of the chart with the planets in the signs, the house in the signs, the planets in the houses and the aspects of the planets.
The display pauses every 15 lines. Press any key to continue the display of the analysis.
1.2.7 Clock
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to display a graph of an Astral Clock which displays a chart using a given date and time, then advances the chart in time like a clock, by time intervals that have been initially entered in the input field STEP.
The CLOCK function of the Chart menu displays a window which allows you to type in the date and hour you wish.
The date and time of the main chart are displayed by default.
After having confirmed them with <ENTER> or <PAGE DOWN>, CLOCK displays the graph for the selected date and time and advances the graph each time by the number of hours/minutes input in the STEP field. If you wish a pause in the display, press <ESC>.
1.2.8 Linear graph
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to display a linear graph for the main chart, depicting the progression of the planets starting at a given date and time, and with the time interval STEP.
The option displays a window which lets you input the date and time desired, and the time interval STEP. The date and time of the main chart are displayed by default.
After having confirmed them with <ENTER> or <PAGE DOWN>, LINEAR GRAPH displays a graphic representation starting at the date and time chosen, and advancing each time with the number of days inputted into the STEP field. Press on any key to return to the main menu.

1.3 Chart 2
The CHART 2 menu contains the following options:
Transits────────────> Calculates the transits of a planet of the chart
Compare to day──────> Calculates the chart on a given day
Compare 2 charts────> Calculates and compares two charts
Compare to file─────> Compares the displayed chart to a chart in the file
Solar revolution────> Calculates the solar revolution of the displayed
chart
Progression─────────> Calculates the progressions of the displayed chart
1.3.1 Main Menu/Chart 2/Transits
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to calculate the transits of a planet in relation to the main chart.
The program first asks you which town to use for the longitude in order to calculate the transits.
Usually, this means the town where the subject spent his last birthday.
Select a town as described in the NEW option in the CHART menu of the Main Menu.
A list is displayed allowing you to select the desired planet. Use the arrows <ENTER> or <PAGE DOWN> which take you to the next field.
If necessary, change the date by using the + and - keys followed by <ENTER>.
When you have selected the date, press <ENTER> or <PAGE DOWN>.
This option calculates the exact transits for the selected planet. It gives the date and time of the transit with a margin for error. The next to last column indicates the exact angle between the two planets at that time. A positive value is said to be dexter and a negative is said to be sinister.
The choice of aspects, the specification of values for the orbs and the choice between the major aspects and all the aspects is carried out in the Options menu. A change of orbs has an effect on the displayed values.
The usual menu is displayed at the top of the screen. It corresponds to the main menu, but certain options act in a different way appropriate for transits.
1.3.2 Main Menu/Chart 2/Compare to day
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to compare the main chart with the chart of a given day.
The aspects of this comparison correspond to transits with the orbs specified in the OPTIONS menu.
The program first asks you which town to use for the longitude to calculate the transits.
Usually, this means the town where the subject is at the given date.
Select a town as in the NEW option in the CHART menu. Then enter the date and hour for the comparison.
The inter-aspects between the birth chart and the chart of the date requested are displayed with their orbs and indicative values.
1.3.3 Main Menu/Chart 2/Comp 2 charts
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to compare the main chart to a chart in the file. The names written in your file are displayed on the screen; select the name of the chart to be compared.
1.3.4 Main Menu/Chart 2/Compare to file
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to search in the file for charts corresponding to the selection criteria in relation to the main chart. Select the desired sex, the minimum and maximum age and the maximum and minimum for the number of points -, +, total. The points are the values given to the aspects between the main chart and each chart in the file.
The specification of the orb values and the choice between the major aspects and all the aspects are made in the CHART/ASPECTS ORBS option of the OPTIONS menu. A change of orbs has an effect on the values displayed.
1.3.5 Main Menu/Chart 2/Solar revolution
Confirm this function with <ENTER> to calculate a solar revolution of the main chart. Input the age of the desired birthday. The program asks which town to use for the longitude to calculate the Solar revolution.

1.4.2 Print/Graph

This option displays a window in which you choose between all the planets or a single planet.
If you choose ALL, the program plots horizontal lines representing the positions of the planets in the main chart, and then plots a curve representing the movement of the planet in transit.
If you select a single planet, AstroMart plots horizontal lines representing that planet in the main chart and other lines showing the aspects in respect to the planet. A curve shows the movement of the planet in transit.
Press any key to return to the TRANSITS menu.
2.3 Transits/Chart 2
This menu contains the following options:
Compare 2 charts────> Compares the chart at the date of a transit to the main
chart
Midpoints───────────> Calculates and displays the midpoints between the chart
at the date of a transit to the main chart

The specification of the orb values and the selection between the major aspects and all the aspects is done in the CHART/ASPECTS ORBS option in the OPTIONS menu. A change of orbs has an effect on the values.

The GRAPH option in the SOLAR REVOLUTION/CHART menu displays a graphic representation of the solar revolution chart.

Confirm this function with <ENTER> to give you the choice between the major aspects and all the aspects, that is to say major and minor, which you desire for studying an astral chart. An input page modifies the values for the orbs of the aspects for each planet.
